Policies
Jill deeply respects the client-trainer relationship, as well as the responsibilities of each participant, and promotes a highly therapeutic conditioning experience for each of her valued clients. For clarity and transparency, her studio and practice policies are delineated below. Client questions and concerns are always warmly welcomed.
Jill Carlucci's Restorative Fitness studio is currently situated inside Westlake Chiropractic, and requests that clients respect the relationship and policies of each practice.
Sessions
New Clients
Before beginning your first session, you may anticipate a brief chat with Jill to clarify your fitness objectives and relay any pertinent health or medical information. Please be as straightforward as possible, so your trainer can accommodate any special needs, injuries or other concerns. We will also conduct a postural assessment and discuss the ways the GYROTONIC® method can help you achieve specific goals.
Intake/Waivers
You must complete all client intake forms and sign Cancelation and Health liability waivers with Restorative Fitness before beginning training or wellness sessions with Jill. These forms will be emailed for your convenience, and must be completed and submitted before any training begins. To minimize intake time at your first session, please complete and submit all forms and waivers prior to arrival.
Punctuality
Please arrive at least 5-10 minutes before your session. This ensures you have time to change clothes, hydrate and be prepared to begin each session at your scheduled time.
Props
All mats, props and other equipment will be provided in the studio. Please let your trainer know if have any specific requests or need special accommodations.
Session Times
Private instruction is offered in 55- or 85-minute sessions. Please note that late arrivals will be accommodated, but that all sessions will still end at the scheduled time. Packages
Discounted session Intro-packs include 3 x 55-minute sessions, are limited to one per client and expire after 6 weeks. 5- and 10-pack sessions are available at a discounted rate and expire after 1 year. Packages are not eligible for partial or prorated refunds, and are non-transferrable. Packs may be purchased as gifts. Existing clients are only eligible for 5- and 10-packs, including gifted sessions. All purchases are only eligible for a full refund within 14 days of purchase. Extensions or refunds for special circumstances are at your trainer's discretion and cannot be guaranteed.
Rescheduling
At least 24 hours cancelation notice is required to reschedule or cancel any session or appointment, preferably self-canceled and/or rescheduled in your online or in-app member account. Same-day (less than 24 hours) rescheduling requests may be accommodated without charge at your trainer's discretion, but cannot be guaranteed. Please contact Jill directly to request same-day rescheduling. Please note that same-day cancelations, including rescheduling requests that cannot be accommodated, will be charged at full price, or have that session deducted from an active package. This policy is in place out of respect for all Restorative Fitness clients.
Attire
Appropriate training attire is any comfortable clothing, such as yoga wear, that does not inhibit movement in any way. You may wear form-fitting to closely-draped athletic wear, with plenty of stretch preferred, but to maximize your training sessions and personal safety, no overly baggy or regular street clothes are allowed. T-shirts and tank tops are permitted.
Socks are required, and grip socks are permitted if you prefer. Shoes are not allowed in the studio.
Safety
Notification
It is your responsibility to inform your trainer of any limitations, injuries, or special considerations before any session begins. By signing the Restorative Fitness liability waiver, you agree to follow all instructions as to safely participate in movement sessions, wellness programming, and other activities designed to enhance fitness and achieve health-related goals. Please notify Jill immediately of any changes in your ability to participate in any physical activity, whether before, during or after any session.
Sanitization
Restorative Fitness prioritizes client health and safety above all other considerations. The studio is equipped with a HEPA filtration system, continuously in use during all working hours. All studio equipment and props are thoroughly sanitized after each use, between clients and at the end of each working day. Hand sanitizer is also available in the studio for client use, which Jill routinely applies throughout the day.
Illness
If you are ill, please do not come to the studio. In consideration of COVID-19 and other health concerns, please wash and/or sanitize your hands before entering the studio or using the equipment. Face masks are optional; however, if you would prefer that your trainer wear a mask, please let Jill know. If you are coughing or sneezing due to Cedar Fever or other seasonal or regional allergies, please be courteous and wear a face mask during your session.
Pricing
Single sessions and discounted multi-session packages are available on the Restorative Fitness website or in our mobile app.
All new clients are encouraged to purchase a discounted Intro 3-Pack of 55-minute sessions to become familiar with Jill and the GYROTONIC® method. Please register or login to our website or mobile app to view available session days, times and pricing.
Cancelations
A full 24-hour notice is required by every client to reschedule or cancel any session or appointment. Same-day cancelations (less than 24 hours) will be charged at full price, or have that session deducted from an active package. Same-day rescheduling requests may be accommodated at no charge at your trainer's discretion, but cannot be guaranteed. You may contact Jill with any special circumstances or other cancelation requests, but please understand that refunds are not offered on any purchase after 14 days, and cancelations and refunds cannot be guaranteed.
